A graduate of ESCP Europe, she created and sold several e-commerce companies. She lived in New York from 2015 to 2020, where she created PEPS Lab to help retail brands accelerate their transformation. She is also the author of several reference books about the future of retail, including “Stores are not dead”. Catherine Barba invests in and serves on the Board of Directors of successful tech start-ups, including Retency (analytics in store), Reech (influencer marketing), Popshop (next generation of e-commerce), Euveka (CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree for mannequin technology), Cargo (in-car commerce) and Showfields (next generation of physical stores).
