<h2>Nissan and Barcelona, an electric partnership</h2><p>Carlos Ghosn, Nissan CEO, in the presence of Xavier Trias, Mayor of Barcelona, introduced the e-NV 200. This zero emission LCV is based on the award-winning NV200 van and will be produced in Barcelona. This vehicle, will be used as a taxi in Barcelona. Nissan and the city of Barcelona also intend to promote the use of electric vehicles for the delivery of goods.</p><h2>New X -Trail</h2><p>The new X -Trail was world premiered at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new generation X -Trail has a high-end vibe to it and looks more dynamic. It now looks more like an SUV than a 4&#215;4 and will appeal to families since it is available as a 7-seater. The X -Trail is available in 2 or 4 wheel drive and will feature the latest generation navigation system NissanConnect.</p><p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1804" alt="X-Trail" src="http://www.renaultgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/blog/en/2013/09/X-Trail.jpg" width="500" height="300" /></p><h2>Friend-ME</h2><p>Unveiled in Shanghai, Friend-ME is making its European debut in Frankfurt. Nissan&rsquo;s objective with this concept was to appeal to the new largest world segment: Bālínghòu, the 240 million Chinese born in the 1980s. Friend-ME&rsquo;s strength and flowing lines give it a muscular look. Low and wide, it definitely looks more aggressive and sporty than conventional sedans. Interior-wise, four seats embody high-tech. No separation between driver and passengers. Everyone shares the same information than the driver : speed, remaining fuel, navigation&#8230; Nissan Friend-ME is the fruit of a collaboration between design teams Nissan Design China (NDC) and Nissan Global Design Center (NGDC).</p><p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1805" alt="Friend Me" src="http://www.renaultgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/blog/en/2013/09/Friend-Me.jpg" width="500" height="300" /></p>
