Renault EZ-GO concept: innovating for tomorrow’s urban mobility

Published on

Since TREZOR in 2016, Renault concept-cars have entered an exploratory cycle. The SYMBIOZ sedan and the EZ-GO robo-vehicle, the latest two, represent the brand’s vision of personal and shared mobility by 2030. This vision is part of the Drive The Future 2017-2022 plan to enable the Groupe Renault to build tomorrow’s mobility, with the ambition that it be sustainable and for all.

In urban areas – where it’s expected that 70% of the population will live by 2050 – inhabitants are looking for better mobility conditions, on demand, shared, efficient and affordable, for true freedom of movement. Renault EZ-GO meets this need, as a vision of both a vehicle and a service and has been designed to be integrated – just like its station – into the city and to bring it a positive impact.

For this purpose, EZ-GO has to be innovative on many aspects: design, autonomous driving, life on board, connected station, etc. Its designers and the station’s architect explain how these innovations can revolutionize urban mobility in the future and help make life easier for city users.
