Spotlight on the history of Renault during the European heritage days

Published on

The pride we take in our heritage meant that we simply could not miss this opportunity to share the highlights of our history with young and old alike.

All over the town this weekend, onlookers will be able to enjoy events and activities depicting the history of Renault, which has always been tightly interwoven with the history of the town itself.

The programme:

  • A parade of vintage Renault cars through the town
Some 20 vintage Renaults will parade through the streets of Boulogne. From the Voiturette to the Dauphine, you won’t be able to miss them!
  • An exhibition of vintage cars at the Renault Histoire museum
Around 20 Renault cars, built between 1898 and 1985, will be on show in the gardens of the “Renault Histoire” museum in Boulogne.
  • Events on the Île Seguin
Two conferences will be held on the island over the two days.
  • Presentation of a documentary about Renault in the Great War in the “Renault Histoire” museum
A brand new web-documentary telling the story of Renault during the First World War will be on show all weekend.
  • Workers’ memories on la Place J. Guesde.
The memories of Renault workers will be recited by former employees at Billancourt at the “La REGIE” cafe.

We hope you will join us!
