Catherine Gros is a graduate of the London School of Journalism and French school of journalism IPJ (l’Institut Pratique du Journalisme).

She began her career as Press and External Relations Director at Vivendi in 1988 and retained this position for 15 years.

She then moved into the world of consultancy at Image 7, where she stayed for seven years.

In 2010, she was appointed Communications Director for Groupe EDF, where she remained for five years.

As a Vice President at Publicis Consultants from 2015, Catherine Gros advised major CAC 40 firms in corporate communications, crisis products and communications, institutional relations and corporate social responsibility.

In December 2019, Catherine Gros joined Renault Group as SVP for Communications, Public Affairs and Social and Sustainable Impact.

On January 1, 2021, Catherine Gros is appointed SVP, Commitment & Dialogues, Renault Group. She is a member of Renault Group Corporate Management Committee.

On February 1, 2023, she is appointed Chief Communications Officer. She becomes a member of the Leadership Team, which replaces the Board of Management (BOM) and the Corporate Management Committee (CMC). This new single management body’s mission will be to ensure the strategic and operational management of Renault Group activities.
