Renault Frères Innovation Trophies: launch of the 2024 edition

For the fourth year running, the Renault Frères Innovation Trophies are held to reward the Group’s inventors and strengthen the role of innovation within the company. This competition includes all the countries and business lines that are transforming Renault Group into a next-generation automotive company.

"Innovation is at the heart of the automotive world, and this is now truer than ever. The cards are being reshuffled at record speed between new and traditional OEMs. The only sure thing is that those who know how to innovate will be the leaders. To put Renault Group in a position to win this race, everyone has a contribution to make, without exception!

Innovation is not just for engineers. It also means reinventing our products, our business and our relationships with our customers. It means opening up new pioneering fronts, such as the circular economy and mobility services, and reinventing our processes, even the simplest ones. It means refusing to accept routine in everything we do. It means never stopping to question the way we work in order to improve it.

That’s why there are six categories in the Renault Frères Innovation Trophies, to cover ALL the company’s activities… and, of course, yours. Whatever your job or function: we’re waiting for your applications from now until the end of May on the platform. And we’ll see you in November for the awards ceremony! I’m counting on you all!"

Before the end of May, build your team (maximum 7 people) and fill in an application form on the dedicated platform. There, you can showcase your innovations implemented between September 2022 and October 2024. 

Similar to last year, six categories are proposed to cover a wide range of subjects: 

  • Technology;  
  • Industry;  
  • Quality;  
  • Customer Relationship;  
  • “Small & Smart” (useful, creative and pragmatic innovations);  
  • Transformation.  

Shortlisted teams will have a chance to win one of the 8 trophies and a substantial cash prize. 


A tailor-made communication campaign to celebrate the culture of innovation  

To coincide with the launch of the 4th edition of the Innovation Trophies, a coms campaign celebrating the 2023 recipients and their award-winning innovations aims to raise awareness about the contest and encourage even more colleagues to participate. Last year’s winners agreed to pose in front of a photographer’s lens, like stars at the top of a movie poster.
