Who is the controller of your personal data?
Your personal data is processed by Renault SAS, acting in its capacity as data controller.

For what purposes is your personal data used?
As a general principle, we undertake to collect only the personal data that is necessary for each of the purposes for which we process your data.
In this respect, mandatory fields are indicated in the data collection forms. They are justified either in order to respond to your request or to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations. If you do not wish to provide the mandatory data, we will not be able to process your request.
How long is your data retained?
In accordance with the regulations, we undertake to retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the relevant purposes.
In order to determine these retention periods, we rely in particular on the following criteria:
- The time required to process your request or complaint,
- The need to retain a certain history of your interactions with us for the proper management of our commercial relationship,
- Our legal or regulatory obligations.
We may retain, in archived form, certain categories of your personal data to be able to respond to any legal claim, for the limitation period provided for by the applicable legislation.
Who has access to your data?
We may share your personal data when we rely on partners and service providers to process all or part of your personal data, to the extent necessary for the performance of the tasks entrusted to them (for example, for hosting our website or mobile application, for the provision of services relating to the operation or maintenance of the website, or for carrying out satisfaction surveys).
Where possible, your data is hosted on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, as some of our service providers are located in countries outside the EEA, your personal data is processed in those countries. Some of these countries may have personal data regulations that differ from those of the European Union. Your rights

- A right to rectification, if your data proves to be inaccurate or outdated, enabling us to comply with our obligation to hold up-to-date data concerning you,
- A right to erasure (or right to be forgotten) of your personal data, which may be limited in view of our contractual or legal obligations,
- A right to data portability, namely the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller,
- A right to object, subject to demonstrating grounds relating to your particular situation, and the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data, in certain cases provided for by the regulations,
- A right to object to any direct marketing (including profiling where used), which may in particular be exercised via the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email,
- A right to withdraw your consent at any time, for the purposes for which we collected your consent.
You also have the option to define either general or specific instructions in relation to certain processing operations, concerning the retention, erasure and communication of your personal data in the event of your death. You may amend or delete these instructions at any time. You may inform us of these specific instructions by writing to the address mentioned above.
