The Dacia Spring Electric city car is marketed with a very simple range: two levels of equipment and no battery rental. With this model, Dacia offers an affordable solution to today’s sustainable mobility needs, whether you want to own a vehicle or use one as part of a shared offer.
Engine
Under the hood of Dacia Spring Electric is a 33 kW (equivalent to 44 horsepower), 100% electric engine offering 125 Nm of torque. It offers many advantages in use: immediate response to acceleration, no gear shifting, silent operation and absence of vibration.
Autonomy
With a capacity of 26.8 kWh, Spring Electric’s battery gives it a reassuring range of 225 km WLTP (295 km in WLTP City), guaranteeing great versatility of use, both urban and peri-urban.
Recharge
For more freedom, Spring Electric offers a wide choice of charging solutions, with no restrictions thanks to the AC cable supplied and the optional DC cable. It can be connected to any electrical installation: domestic sockets, reinforced “Green-up” type sockets, Wallboxes, quick charging terminals, etc. The charging time of the lithium-ion battery is : less than one hour for a charge of 80% on a 30 kW DC terminal, less than five hours for a charge of 100% on a 7,4 kW Wallbox.
Design
A disruptive city dweller, Spring Electric has an assertive and muscular look, ideal for confronting the urban jungle. In contained dimensions, its design displays a reassuring robustness and hints at great interior habitability. Its rambunctious look breaks the codes of the electric car with widened wheel arches, roof bars, a rear ski and raised ground clearance (150 mm unladen). The rear lights are fitted with the new Dacia Y-shaped lighting signature.
Habitability
In compact exterior dimensions, this 5-door city car offers four real seats and generous on-board space. The large 300-liter trunk, worthy of the upper segment, offers the best loading capacity in its class. For greater modularity, the rear bench seat can be folded down. Finally, Dacia Spring Electric is one of the only models in its category to offer a genuine spare tire, without encroaching on trunk space.
Made to measure
Dacia Spring Electric will be offered for purchase by individuals, but will also be available as part of car-sharing offers in major cities. Corporate fleets and professionals – via a special Cargo version – will also be able to take advantage of it.
