Thierry Charvet, a graduate of the École Polytechnique, joined Renault in 1993 as an engineer in the Research Department.
In 1996, he joined the Flins plant and successively held responsibilities in the Quality department and the Body Assembly and Sheet Metal department.
In 2006, he was appointed Project Director for Mégane, and in 2008, VP, Vehicule Development Engineering at the Technocentre (Guyancourt, Fance).
From January to August 2011, Thierry Charvet joined the Cléon plant as Deputy Director of Operations. He was then appointed VP, of the Flins plant in September 2011.
Between February 2014 and 2017, Thierry Charvet was Alliance Global Director, Industrial Performance.
In 2017, he was appointed Alliance Global VP, Manufacturing Engineering.
In November 2021, Thierry Charvet became SVP, Quality, Renault Group.
On January 15, 2023, Thierry Charvet is appointed EVP, Group Industry and Quality. He becomes a member of the Renault Group Board of Management and reports to Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault Group.
On February 1, 2023, he is appointed Chief Industry / Quality Officer. He becomes a member of the Leadership Team, which replaces the Board of Management (BOM) and the Corporate Management Committee (CMC). This new single management body’s mission will be to ensure the strategic and operational management of Renault Group activities.
