Paris Agreement

The Paris Agreement is a legally binding international treaty on climate change. It was adopted in December 2015 at COP 21, the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris. Its overarching goal is to hold “the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels” and pursue efforts “to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels”.

Green Deal

The European Green Deal is a package of policy initiatives by the European Commission with the overarching aim of making Europe climate neutral by 2050.

CSRD

Applicable from 1 January 2024, the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) sets new standards and requirements for non-financial reporting. It applies to large companies and listed SMEs. The aim of this directive is to further sustainable development in business and to identify the companies showing discipline in this area. The information gathered will enable us to better assess the impact of the company and its activities on the environment.
