Dieppe, Enstone, Viry-Châtillon… the various entities that make up Alpine may be located in different places, but they are all driven by the same spirit. It is this culture, deeply inspired by competition, that is the focus of the sixth episode of our series dedicated to Alpine’s 70th anniversary.

A competitive spirit that endures

As mentioned in the first episode of the series, Alpine has its roots in motorsport. Its founder, Jean Rédélé, always ensured that the spirit of competition permeated all the brand's activities. In this episode, Alpine CEO Philippe Krief reflects on this mindset and emphasizes how it continues to inspire the brand's employees today, regardless of their role.

It’s a spirit made of determination, courage, rigor, but also humility. Because every day, we challenge ourselves, just like in motorsports. That’s the Alpine spirit.”

A team culture strengthened by motorsports

Present in Formula 1 and Endurance racing, where it recently won its 100th FIA WEC Championship race, Alpine cultivates this spirit. As Alpine Formula One Team Technical Director David Sanchez and Alpine Formula One Team Operations Director Ian Pearce explain, the men and women wearing the “Arrowed A” badge put their tenacity, innovation, and performance to the test every day.

“I think we’re all constantly talking about innovation, with this obsession with the next idea, how we’re going to design a better car.”
