At 4.56 metres long, with its sculpted and expressive silhouette, balanced proportions, distinctive lighting signature and spacious, technology-rich interior, Renault Boreal embodies a new generation of vehicles that combine elegance, advanced technology and everyday practicality.

From Curitiba to Bursa, a new industrial milestone

Launched in 2025 from Brazil, Renault Boreal is now entering a new phase of its international rollout. With the opening of a second production site in Türkiye, the model is reaching a new scale. The Bursa plant is one of the key hubs in Renault’s industrial footprint, strengthening the brand’s proximity to fast-growing markets. An international expansion strategy gaining momentum

« Boreal embodies Renault’s ambition to accelerate growth beyond Europe by delivering more value to our customers and strengthening our position in the strategic CSUV segment. First launched in Latin America from our Brazilian hub, its expansion to Türkiye marks a new step in our international development. It also reflects our approach to support electrification, with the introduction of full hybrid ETech technology version. A connected, refined SUV designed for families

In Latin America, Renault Boreal meets growing demand for modern family SUVs. In Türkiye, the Middle East and the Mediterranean region, it strengthens an already dynamic offering in markets where more than one in two vehicles sold is an SUV.

With its latest-generation internal combustion engine, new 160 hp full hybrid E-Tech powertrain, dual-clutch EDC transmission, 24 advanced driver-assistance systems and seamless connected experience, Boreal stands out as a true conquest vehicle, designed for long-term success.

Renault is therefore accelerating the electrification of its lineup beyond Europe. The hybrid powertrain complements the existing offering, delivering an optimal balance between performance and energy efficiency while meeting the specific needs and expectations of customers across different markets.

Following in the footsteps of Renault’s global icons

Renault’s history is marked by models that have left their mark on roads around the world. Launched in 1961, Renault 4 sold more than 8 million units in over 100 countries, becoming a symbol of accessible, robust and universal mobility. With its bold design and compact dimensions, Renault 5 won over customers across Europe and beyond, becoming an icon of the 1970s and 1980s.

More recently, Clio has carried this legacy forward, becoming the best-selling French car worldwide, with a presence in more than 115 countries. What these models share is their ability to adapt to local needs while preserving Renault’s distinctive “voiture à vivre” DNA.

With Boreal, Renault reconnects with this tradition of universality, reinterpreted for a new era. Where Renault 4 helped bring mobility to the masses, Renault Boreal delivers connected, comfortable and aspirational mobility, tailored to the expectations of emerging middle classes and urban families around the world.

Renault Boreal marks an important milestone in the Group’s international strategy. With the launch of production in Türkiye, it reaches a new stage as a truly global vehicle capable of supporting Renault’s growth across multiple continents. Designed to meet the specific expectations of fast-growing markets, Boreal fully reflects the Group’s ambition to expand its footprint beyond Europe.
