Article summary

In 2022, Megane E‑Tech electric ushered in a new generation of Renault electric vehicles and already embodied a value-driven strategy built around design, technology and driving experience. It also opened the door to electric mobility for a new customer base, with nearly 70% of buyers discovering this world for the first time. Today, it returns with a more modern style, enhanced technologies and a clearer, more streamlined offering.
This is more electric, with no compromises
The new 67 kWh battery now features LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry, replacing the previous NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) technology. It takes Megane E‑Tech electric beyond the symbolic 500 km range threshold while significantly improving charging performance: from 15% to 80% in just 24 minutes, representing a time saving of around 25%. Combined with a bidirectional charger, it makes everyday use and long-distance journeys even easier, while preserving the dynamic qualities that are part of Megane’s DNA.

This is technology that makes life easier
Inside, everything is designed for immediate and intuitive use. The Google built-in ecosystem integrates seamlessly into everyday life, with intelligent route planning and an enriched suite of connected services. The my rnlt app plays a central role as the interface between the vehicle, the driver and the brand, supporting key aspects of electric driving, from monitoring the battery charge and planning journeys to controlling a range of remote functions directly from a smartphone.

This is a design that adds value
With its redesigned front end, more distinctive lighting signature and stronger stance, Megane gains in character and dynamism. The line-up has also been designed to provide reassurance and clarity at the point of purchase: one powertrain, one battery and two trim levels. A simple range, generously equipped across all versions, making the choice easier without compromising on content.

This is more than a Megane facelift
Produced in France, in Douai at the heart of ElectriCity, New Megane E‑Tech electric reinforces its position within Renault’s E‑Tech electric range and the Group’s strategy. It supports the acceleration of electrification with an offering that is more refined, more consistent and better aligned with today’s customer expectations.
