We place innovation at the heart of the company so that the mobility we invent is sustainable and decarbonised. It is innovation that transforms environmental imperatives into drivers of performance.

The world as we once knew it no longer exists. The era of “happy globalization,” built on the illusion of peaceful multilateralism and the sanctuary of international law, closed a long time ago. Today, we face an intensifying global confrontation driven by powers that impose their dominance by aligning political, economic, and military hegemony. In this context of geopolitical tensionsaggressive protectionism and pressure on critical raw materials, the automotive industry has become a key battleground for economic and technological rivalry.

In such an unpredictable environment, where competition is intensifying and regulatory frameworks are becoming increasingly restrictive, we cannot afford to wait. Today, after the successful transformation of Renaulution, we are launching our response to these disruptions with our new strategic plan, unveiled last March: futuREady.

From ’success story’ to ‘success system’: the requirement to last

In five years, with Renaulution, our strategy has been clear: put the product back at the center, accelerate the electrification of our lineup, and focus our efforts on our recovery in Europe. We have met our objectives and proven that we know how to win. Now, we have to prove we can do so in the long run.

Renaulution was a success. Now, our challenge is to prove that we know how to last. With futuREady, we aim to transform the Renaulution success story into a sustainable ‘success system’.

Today, our ambition is to become the reference European OEM with global reach. This requires consolidating our fundamentals while anticipating the world of tomorrow. We need to stay one step ahead of customers’ needs.

Staying the course through innovation

Faced with a harsher economic climate, some are calling for a retreat from ESG commitments in the name of short-term “realism.” We disagree. A company’s strategy cannot be dictated by the mood of the moment! That is why we are maintaining our Net Zero ambitions: carbon neutrality by 2040 in Europe and by 2050 globally.

Innovation is what allows us to turn these challenges into levers for performance. By embedding ESG across all our operations, and through our commitment to electrification and circular economy, we are building sustainabledecarbonized mobility.

A new strategic era for 2030

To come out on top in this context of heightened competition, our futuREady plan is built upon four strategic pillars

  • ‘Growth-ready’: We are driving growth through strong products and a differentiating customer experience. With 36 new models by 2030, including 22 in Europe and 14 internationally, we are making desirability the engine of our next growth cycle.
  • ‘Tech-ready’: We are accelerating innovation to stay one step ahead. With our new modular RG EV Medium 2.0 platform, we are taking electrification to a new level and responding to customers’ expectations.
  • ‘Excellence-ready’: We are making Renault Group more resilient by design, notably by integrating AI and ESG across all our operations. We are also moving to a 2-year development time for all our new vehicles – a major competitive advantage!
  • ‘Trust-ready’: Finally, we are building this plan with all our stakeholders. Together, we will create sustainable value. By placing skills development and the circular economy at the center of our operations, we are anchoring sustainability at the heart of our growth model.

A collective pact for resilience

FutuREady is not just a technical plan; it is a human commitment. Faced with rapid industrial transformation, we are building reciprocal commitments with all our stakeholders: our employees, our dealer network, our suppliers, and our partners. Wherever we operate, we are investing in the resilience of local communities.

“futuREady is a growth plan, but also one of resilience. We are transforming our teams’ skills to adapt them to electrification needs, as we are doing at our French industrial hub, ElectriCity.”

The year 2025, marked by robust results, the new partnership with Ford, and the success of Renault 5 and Alpine A290, gave us decisive momentum. We have entered 2026 with a roadmap outlined with strength, precision and ambition. For us, performance and responsibility go hand in hand: with futuREady, we are going further in embedding sustainable development across all our operations.

The future is not something we undergo; it is something we prepare for. At Renault Group, we are futuREady!
