Renault Filante blanche

Renault has just unveiled Filante, its new high-end crossover and the fifth vehicle of the Renault International Game Plan 2027. Featuring avant-garde automotive design, groundbreaking technologies and a 250 hp E-Tech full hybrid powertrain, Filante promises a premium experience designed to appeal to markets outside Europe. First launch in Korea from March 2026, followed by South America and the Gulf region. A reveal that marks a turning point for Renault and its global ambitions.

More than a Korean car, a truly international car

Filante is a strategic vehicle that marks Renault’s return to the premium segment outside Europe. Revealed in Seoul, this bold crossover embodies the brand’s renewed international ambition and stands as the flagship of the Renault International Game Plan 2027, a strategy built around eight global launches and a €3 billion investment to strengthen Renault’s presence across 80 countries.

“We are opening a new chapter of the Renault International Game Plan 2027 here in Korea, a market that plays a central role in our global ambitions… Filante perfectly illustrates our approach, blending Renault’s French DNA with Korean excellence.”

Assembled in Busan, Filante will go on sale in Korea from March 2026, before setting its sights on South America and the Gulf countries in early 2027. Its global ambition makes it more than a Korean car, with a design that leaves no one indifferent.

Sculptural automotive design and innovative technologies

Filante captivates at first glance with its avant-garde styling: a sleek, athletic silhouette, taut lines and a striking lighting signature that redefines Renault’s visual language. Inside, comfort takes center stage, with lounge-style seats, premium materials and first-class sound insulation, made possible by the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform.

On the technology front, Filante introduces three innovations never before seen in the Renault range:

  • Emergency steering assist,
  • Smart rearview mirror,
  • Child presence detection.

Add to this a fully connected cabin designed to make everyday life easier and deliver a seamless user experience, and Filante emerges as a crossover that combines safety, comfort and driving pleasure, engineered in particular to meet the expectations of a highly tech-savvy Korean clientele.

E-Tech Hybrid: the power and efficiency of 250 hp

Under the hood, Filante debuts the new 250-hp E-Tech full hybrid powertrain. This technology combines dynamism, performance and energy efficiency to meet the expectations of premium customers outside Europe. It also reflects Renault’s broader strategy, with one in three vehicles sold outside Europe set to be electrified by 2027.

Renault International Game Plan’s internationalization strategy

To fully understand Filante, it is worth looking back at the models that paved the way:
