News
Valladolid Carrocerias plant produces its 100,000th battery
Last 20 June 2023, the Battery workshop, the plant of Valladolid Carrocerias manufactured its 100,000th battery since the production launch in June 2019.
- 1951: creation of the Fabrication Automobiles SA company (FASA).
- 1962: creation of the assembly plant, under the name FACSA (Fabrication Carrosseries SA).
- 1995: bodywork and assembly activities are grouped together into the Assembly plant of Valladolid.
- 2017: new Plastic Injection workshop (for Captur tailgate).
- 2019: new painting line for plastic parts, assembly of shields and a new battery workshop to manufacture 100% of the hybrid batteries for vehicles in Valladolid and Palencia.
- 2021: Separation of the Valladolid Bodywork and Assembly plant into two independent units in July 2021.
